The Socialist Party has won the by-elections on March 6 in the Municipality of Vora. Socialist candidate Blerim Shera received 7,530 votes, followed by Freedom House candidate Lulzim Vrana, who received 2,598 votes. In third place was Ymer Marku, the Democratic Party candidate, who received only 687 votes.
The chairman of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, in a statement to the media, gave the result of the by-elections in the Municipality of Vora.
Who is Blerim Shera?
Blerim Shera is a teacher by profession, returned from emigration to Italy a few years ago. Before entering the competition, Sheraj held the status of teacher of a 9-year school. Shera was introduced by the SP Political Leader for the Tirana region, Erion Veliaj on February 13 in Vora.
Sheraj replaces Agim Kajmaku, dismissed by the CEC for violating the decriminalization law. Kajmaku was accused of falsifying forms and exercising his functions after resigning.
