Will Smith’s slap on Chris Rock during the Oscars has been the talk of the media for hours now.
Academician Artan Fuga in a live link on the show “Zona Zero” on Top News analyzed in several ways the action commented on in every corner of the globe.
Actors are all the time on a fine line between reality and acting without making an emotional separation.
That moment can also be a good way to get attention by saying through the action “Hey I’m here”, according to Fuga.
“There is a kind of machismo, role, it makes it more difficult than what is real life and acting. It is known as a virtue of people who act in front of the public that they at a certain moment do not distinguish whether they are playing the role of actor or are living realistically. These two are together and should be understood together. Smith has a moment when he seeks to put in place, to balance a kind of joke that goes towards insult, equivalent to establishing a kind of honor. It was not painful, it was more to touch your family privacy, I to touch your bodily privacy. It’s hard to make jokes instantly, so it’s pre-thought. There was an inequality, that the actor was on stage, while Smith on the couch. It could also be a fan of the chance he was given to do a marketing event for himself by saying here I am. They are there between reality and acting. It is a kind of staging, even spontaneous, where in conditions of tensions justice is not done by the state, but a balance of forces of gentlemen “said Fuga.
Regarding the question of how he would act if he were in the same situation with the actor, Fuga said that he would act in the same way.
“If I were in that moment, in that case, I would do the same.” tha Fuga.
