The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, in a statement to the media today, has indicated that the goal of neither country nor the United Kingdom is to eliminate Putin from world and Russian politics.
Asked if he supported Joe Biden’s statement and the strong words he used a few days ago for the Russian president, he objected to having anything personal with Putin and that the UK’s interest is stability and peace in the world.
Commenting on the situation in Ukraine, he said that what all countries are doing is protecting Ukraine from this senseless barbaric war and that they have no negative intentions against Russia.
“We are simply leaving to help the people of Ukraine and to protect them from barbaric and unreasonable violence. That’s what we’re doing. “ he said.
