The father tried to realize the boy’s dream to see up close how Cristiano Ronaldo plays, but the footballer was missing.
Manchester United fan Chris Broome has spent over 3000 3,000 and traveled more than 3,200 kilometers for his son Zak to realize his dream of seeing him from the stadium.
Every time Chris (43 years old) and Zak (12 years old) decided to go to the stadium, the footballer had a sudden injury or the coaches decided to give him a break.
In 2020, Broome paid € 1,859 for his son to see Ronaldo at Juventus, but at the time, the footballer did not play.
In March this year, he spent 1,798 euros on accommodation and hotels to be in the Manchester derby, but Ronaldo was absent due to injury.
Even in Saturday’s match between Manchester United and Leicester City, the father and son were at the stadium but Cristiano did not play.
However he does not give up and says with conviction that he will make his son’s dream come true.
