Also, during the operations, about 80 kg of cannabis, dozens of doses of cannabis, about 1 kg of heroin, cocaine, 12 vehicles, 12 mobile phones, 6 gambling machines, significant amounts of money, counterfeit euros and smuggled goods were seized.
A criminal event was prevented, while 13 cases of opposition of Police officers were hit and 53 cases of domestic violence were prosecuted.
According to the police, 15 cases of environmental crimes, 12 cases of organizing games of chance and 11 cases of theft of electricity have been identified and cracked down on.
In the field of narcotics, 34 cases were identified and hit, while in the field of economic crime, 42 cases were identified and hit.
Four cases of arson have been identified, where one person has been arrested and three others are under investigation.
Traffic Police during this week has suspended 347 driving licenses, of which: 228 for speeding, 75 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drunk and 44 for driving in the opposite direction.
57 drivers were handcuffed, 32 for drunk driving and 25 for driving without a license.
16,135 fines have been imposed this week and six cases of active corruption against employees holding public office have been hit.
The Border Police during this week has arrested 18 wanted persons, out of which 10 are nationally wanted and 8 are internationally wanted.
10 persons are being investigated at large for the criminal offense “Illegal border crossing”, 5 persons for the criminal offense “Assistance in illegal border crossing” and 9 others for the criminal offenses “Forgery of documents”, “Smuggling of goods” for which excise is paid ”and“ Non-declaration of money at the border ”. 16,930 euros were seized and two cases of bribery were hit.
