Gjiknuri: SP ready for the emigrants’ vote, CEC to lead the process, other parties to be included

Damian Gjiknuri: Political will has been expressed, the CEC act has the opportunity to reflect the opinions of political parties. Diaspora vote, the time has come to make it possible. The CEC is in a better position to move this process forward. Has a professional competence to make money. On the other hand, debates can be opened about the weight of the immigrants’ vote, we already have a civil status register, which ensures integrity. They will be registered in a special place. Problems may arise of course, but the CEC can serve as a driver to bring about some schemes. Work is needed, also to sensitize the citizens to enable the exercise of the vote. The Socialist Party is ready, I call on the political parties to participate, because it is almost 1/3 of the electorate. The SP guarantees support and if this work starts already, we have the right to make the immigrants’ vote possible.
