The legal representative of President Ilir Meta, Bledar Dervishaj considered the decree of the new president Bledar Begaj, even though he was in Turkey, for an official visit a constitutional action.
“Meta’s decree is constitutional in its exercise and competencies. I’m surprised by the debate over the head of state’s action. In the face of this fact he had a duty to comment on the proposal. The President made public his position, in order not to delay the procedure, after reviewing the practice he decided to express himself with a decree, he decided either dismissal from duty or active service. The president showed loyalty. It does not matter where the decree is signed, abroad or outside the consulate. The acts enter the office of the head of state and leave the office of state protocol “said Dervishaj.
