Inter also won the second friendly yesterday. The runners-up of Italy beat the Swiss from Lugano 4-1, a challenge which Kristjan Asllani started from the beginning.
The talented Albanian midfielder immediately emerged as the protagonist, providing the assist for D’Ambrosio’s goal that opened the match in the third minute.
SuperSport writes that Simone Inzaghi highly appreciates the 20-year-old, whom he kept on the field for 88 minutes. “I am satisfied with what I saw on the field. We only have four days together, but we played an organized and serious match”.
Then a comment on Asllani, who crossed from the corner and found the head of D’Ambrosio for the first goal in the “poker” success against the team competing in the elite of Helvetian football.
“We wanted Asllan in the team at all costs. He has shown great personality in his early days with us, despite being very young. Brozovic plays in that role, but Asllani will be an added value during the season.” declared Inzaghi.
