Leon Goretzka will miss the preparatory phase that Bayern Munich will develop in the United States of America, but not only in the first weeks of the 2022-2023 season.
The medical staff of the German champions found a serious problem in the midfielder’s left knee and as a result he underwent an operation.
According to reports from the German media, Goretzka could be sidelined for six to eight weeks.
Given that the Bundesliga will start on August 5, in a little more than two weeks, it is likely that the midfielder will miss the opening games of the season.
In the last edition with the Bavarians, Goretzka played in 27 matches in all competitions and scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists.
