Kosovo Police has arrested a Serbian citizen for war crimes committed against civilians in Kosovo in the period 1998-1999.
The 24-hour report states that the arrest took place in Istog, after an investigative work carried out by the War Crimes Investigation unit.
“Fsh. Gurakoc, Istog March-May 1998. Following an investigative work carried out by the War Crimes Investigation Unit, a Serbian male fugitive was identified and arrested for war crimes committed against the civilian population in Kosovo during the period 1998-1999. The same with the decision of the prosecutor is sent to detention. The case is under investigation“, it is said in the police report.
