The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Any citizen over 12 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
MSHMS appeals to all citizens vaccinated with two doses, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 442 tests were performed, out of which were positive with COVID19, 28 citizens, in the following municipalities:
16 in Tirana, 4 Vlora, 2 in Berat, by 1 citizen in Tepelena, Gjirokastra, Saranda, Delvina, Divjaka, Shijak.
There are 385 active COVID-19 patients nationwide.
Currently at COVID3 hospital 10 patients are receiving treatment, of which 2 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours there is a loss of life with Sars-Cov2: an 82-year-old citizen from Lushnja.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the family.
24 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 270,341 since the beginning of the epidemic.
