Traffic expert Nol Dedaj told “Albania Live” the causes of yesterday’s accident where 18 people were injured.
Dedaj showed more details about the accident, saying that the cause was the wet road and low temperatures.
He added that humidity and sub-zero temperatures create a thin layer called black ice, which was indistinguishable from drivers and formed in a very short time.
“Here the conditions have been suitable to create black ice, the upper layer of the road which is created at a temperature of minus five degrees, is created in a very short time interval. It gets its name because of its color because it is difficult to distinguish from drivers.said the expert.
After the collision of four cars, 18 injured people went to the hospital for medical assistance, while among them there were two pregnant women and three children, who are out of danger.
