In the National Assembly of the Democratic Party convened by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha on December 11, it was decided to change the logo and seal of the Democratic Party.

This Assembly, which according to Berisha is historic in Albanian pluralism, is contested by the current leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha, who called the legitimate Assembly on December 18.
The Assembly of December 11 decided to dismiss Basha, while on December 18 a referendum is expected to be held on his dismissal.
Meanwhile, Berisha’s Assembly formed a Re-establishment Commission consisting of 29 members, who according to him will lead the party until the election of a new chairman.
