Adriatik Lapaj called the trial for the dismissal of President Ilir Meta a political process.
Invited to the Open studio on Top Channel, Lamaj said that before when things were going well no one blamed Ilir Meta for the language, while now that things are not going well with the government things are different.
“It is difficult or easy to say that this belongs to the body of the Constitutional Court. Meta was elected when the SP and LSI were in a coalition with each other, and then the President’s language did not violate the unity of the people, while now that they have been broken, it now violates it. “It is clear that this is a political process,” said Lapaj.
For the first time in its history in Albania, the Constitutional Court, within 30 days will issue a decision for or against the dismissal of Ilir Meta, as President of the Republic of Albania.
