550 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours in the country, the highest figure recorded in the last two months.

Out of 1537 tests performed in total, they were positive with COVID19, 340 citizens in Tirana, 28 in Fier, 22 in Saranda, 19 in Vlora, out of 15 cases in Lezha, Gjirokastra, 14 in Durres, 11 in Kruja, 10 in Shkodra, from 7 citizens in Kamza, Vora, Himara, from 6 citizens in Roskovec, Lushnja, Elbasan, from 4 citizens in Mallakastra, Përmet, from 3 citizens in Puka, Kavaja, Divjaka, Korca, from 2 citizens in Vau i Dejes, Patos, Selenica, Memaliaj, Gramsh, by 1 citizen in Tropoja, Mirdita, Kurbin, Shijak, Delvina, Konispol, Tepelena.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are 2,164 active citizens with Covid19 across the country.
In the last 24 hours, 210 citizens have been cured, bringing the number of cured to 274,054 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Given the increase in the number of citizens affected by Covid 19, the Ministry of Health again calls on citizens not to neglect anti-Covid vaccination, especially in this period of increasing contacts, due to movements during the summer season. Anyone over the age of 12 can be vaccinated at health centers across the country. MSHMS also appeals to all vaccinated citizens to go to health centers to be vaccinated with the booster dose.
