The Albanian from Kaçanik, Kosovo, Bekim Çallaku has been declared a hero in the Danish state, after a woman and her 16-month-old child were saved from death.
Her ex-husband also attacked the child’s father on the street with a knife, leaving the woman in the wheelchair and the blind child.
In a connection with the show “Albania Live” on Top Channel, the Albanian who has been living in Denmark for 30 years told in detail what happened.
“I was crossing the street by car and I saw a Somali man who was threatening a woman with a knife and he had a woman. I went straight, got out of the car and pushed it. The child was stabbed along with that woman. There were two bikes and I hit it with them. It was a case I could not control. I kept the aggressor, so I saved my wife and child. She has a nightmare in the wheelchair when she came to court, the child has remained blind and the left side is paralyzed, but may improve over time. I met the woman’s parents in court and they thanked me“, Said Çallaku.
