If they say that age is just a number, then the case of Japanese footballer Kazuyoshi Miura would best prove this expression.
With a month to go before he celebrates his 55th birthday, Miura has no plans to stop and part with his biggest passion, football.
Already, the world’s oldest player has signed a contract with Japanese fourth division club Suzuka Point Getters as he is on loan from Yokohama. In this case, very interesting is the fact that in the leadership of this team in the role of coach is his brother, two years older, Yasutoshi Miura.
Surely, the 54-year-old will already find more space in the fourth league, while one eye can close even his brother. Recall that last season, Miura was activated in just one minute with Yokohama.
