After the commanding chairman of the Democratic Party Enkelejd Alibeaj accused the majority that he has changed his position on the process of electing the President, Taulant Balla again invited the opposition to return to the table “to discuss all the names”.
“I urge you to return to the table. Let’s talk the names. This must be done seriously. “Two days ago, there was no agreement on the formula 4: 2: 1”, Balla told the media.
In case we agree on a name, we will support it, said the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, but “you can not say o choose one of these four, or I denounce you for violating the agreementHe addressed Alibeaj in this way, unable to say it in front of him, as he puts it.
At the meeting attended by only 23 deputies, eight candidates emerged for the new President of the Republic.
“What if we do not agree on any of those names? That document is not accepted in its entirety, the principle is partially accepted. They have eight candidacies, let us come for the eight and we will say what we think about one, what we think about the other “.
Reminding the opposition that there are still a few days in the second round, Balla invited them to sit at the table. The second and third rounds belong only to the opposition, the MP said.
