An extraordinary love story, after beating Covid-19, the couple celebrates their 73rd wedding anniversary in the studio

In the studio, Kola shared with the general public the story of him and Mrika, the woman to whom he had dedicated an entire life, inseparable from childhood when they were known.

When Kola was 4 years old, he met Mrika for the first time at his cousins’ house. Over the years they had become more acquainted and had fallen in love, a love which their parents had also noticed.

Their families had agreed for Kola and Mrika to get married, but there was a problem. The law did not allow them to marry because Kola was 4 years younger than Mrika and he had not reached the age of majority to get married.

After many difficulties, Mrika and Kola managed to start their own family and give birth to 8 children.

Kola is now 90 years old and has chosen the program “I want to make you happy” to thank Mrika for the support, love and family he has given her, but also to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of their marriage.

“This woman you see has taken care of me all my life and when we got this virus she was taking care of it, despite the fact that she was sick. On the other hand Mrika confessed that Kola had been a great support in raising the children and that she has always loved him all these years.

She showed that the age difference had never been a hindrance to their love. The program had reserved some surprises for the couple, one of which was a video message from children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
