Anger in France over Macron victory! Cars to the police, two people were shot dead

The incident took place in Pont Neuf, in central Paris, shortly after Macron was reconfirmed at the helm of the state. “A car turned to the police and refused to stop. “One of the officers opened fire, killing two people,” said sources close to the investigation.

In Paris, protesters clashed with police after the announcement of the presidential election results, which gave 44-year-old Macron the opportunity to leave history. his trail after becoming the first incumbent president in 2 decades to confirm his position. But while promising unification, Macron won in a more divisive France than ever, and as great as the joy of one side for this victory was, so deep was the disappointment on the other side.

“My opinion? A very big disappointment. But Le Pen promised that he would not abandon the French, and that we would continue to fight.Said activist Jérôme Auvray.

“Marine Le Pen achieved a historic result, we find the country to be the main opposition force in France in the legislative elections and this is our next objective, that Macron does not have a majority in the National Assembly. Coexistence seems to me necessary for the survival of France and the French“, Said Tristan Szyszka, RN candidate in Oise.

Protests after Macron’s victory also took place in Brittany, where however there was no lack of youth opposition to all politicians in the race.

“We are unhappy because this second round does not reflect the wishes of young people. As we saw, the young people came out massively in favor of the left and in particular of Jean Luc Mélenchon. It is the older ones who have come. for Marine Le Pen, Emmanuel Macron and Eric Zemmour. This is something we do not want as a future. “We completely reject this second round, which for us is nonsense and a dead end.” says student Thomas Lefeuvre.
