Cristiano Ronaldo’s request to the managers of Manchester United to leave the “Red Devils” certainly prompts new scenarios in the football market.
Even unpredictable attitudes, from clubs that perhaps use this moment to make a joke.
The list of teams that want CR7 is long, especially those that will play in the Champions League next season have one more weapon in the race to secure the services of the Portuguese.
Red Bull Salzburg, for example, comes with a concrete proposal. The leaders of the champion team of Austria, as soon as they heard the news about Ronaldo’s request, posted an ironic but very charming message on social networks.
“We can offer: Trophies, the Champions League, wonderful mountains and a team composed of the most talented young players in Europe.”
It is not common to read such posts with unparalleled cynicism: “You know what to do Ronaldo.” Of course, there will be a lot of talk about the future of the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner until the end of the market, but for sure he will not wear the shirt of Salzburg.
