Dr. Artan Koni spoke to “Open” about vaccines and the vaccination process in our country, saying that he would like the government to have talks with more manufacturers.
He stressed the fact that the Albanian government should not neglect talks with Russian and Chinese producers as it may happen that they are authorized and the quantities are taken from other countries.
Koni: I think the problem is national. What I wish the government had done differently is to talk to as many producers as possible because health comes first and they do geopolitics as they please. When we talk about health, we do not have to say that the vaccine is not valid while tomorrow it can be authorized and distributed in Germany.
Bushati: Even the Russian vaccine rejected it, but even the proposal was not serious. This becomes cic-mici game.
