On July 12, 13, 14, the “Gjon Mili, Jazz&Blues” festival comes to Tirana, as well as to Korçë on July 15-16.
Enjoy the magic of Jazz & Blues music that the great master and innovator of world photography, Gjon Mili, contributed artistically to its development mainly during the Second World War.
“Gjon Mili Jazz&Blues Festival” aims to promote the figure of Gjon Mili, as the only connecting bridge that the Albanian nation has with the world history of Jazz and Blues music, making it part of the Cultural and Artistic Heritage of Albania.
The birth of this festival was motivated by the realization of the “Dream of John Mili” project in 2019, supported by the Ministry of Culture. The festival will take place on July 12-13-14 in Tirana, at 20:00 in bahce te Rese and on July 15-16, 2022 near Pedonale in Korça.
This project is a Flagship activity within the Title, “Tirana European Capital of Youth” for 2022, implemented by the National Youth Congress in cooperation with the organization RIAS, Music for Youth and with the support of the Municipality of Tirana, and a representation of national and international institutions in place.
