The Assembly of the Regional Football Association in Gjirokastra fails. The reason for such a situation was the non-opening of the premises of the stadium “Gjirokastra” by the Municipality of Gjirokastra, which owns these facilities.
According to the member of the Executive Committee of FSHF Arben Dervishaj, this is an unprecedented case, as previously the Municipality of Gjirokastra has agreed to hold this assembly in the stadium.
Dervishaj emphasized that according to the statute, the meeting will take place within 24 hours already in another environment.
According to him, the Gjirokastra Association will not have elections, but only the approval of the budget that would translate into investments for the development of football in the southern region
The elections of the regional associations have already turned into an open war where interventions and changes of the rules are being used as a weapon between the parties fighting for the leader of the ALF.
