Two mobile phones suspected of being used for gambling activity were seized.
Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section at the Kavaja Police Commissariat, following the work to identify and crack down on illegal activity in the field of gambling, after a thorough investigation, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Final Game” .
As part of this operation, the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:
– MD, 25 years old, resident in Kavaja, for the criminal offense “Organizing illegal lotteries”.
Also, the citizen EL, 31 years old, resident in Kavaja, was prosecuted for the criminal offense “Illegal employment”.
During the control exercised in the bar of the citizen EL, the Police services have caught in flagrante delicto the citizen MD, employee in the bar, exercising the illegal activity of gambling (sports lotteries), through the mobile phone.
After the verifications, it turned out that the citizen EL had hired the citizen MD, illegally.
As material evidence, two mobile phones suspected of being used for gambling activity were seized.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Kavaja Court of First Instance, for further action.
