The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha reacted after the end of the National Assembly, saying that they will stay in the house of the Democrats, referring to the headquarters of the Democratic Party.
Regarding the referendum held by Berisha for his dismissal, Basha denies that there was one, saying that there is a DP and an Assembly.
“The Assembly of Democrats has been held. There are people who do not learn from history. 96 is a stain of shame in the history of the DP for which we apologize to Albanians. There can be no more repetition. This is the home of the Democrats. Democrats are proud of what they have achieved. We could have been the first of all the eastern countries to have joined the EU. The responsibility for this lies with those who, for their own interests, his personal interest, the then president Sali Berisha accepted an unacceptable electoral standard. Today clearly showed the will of the Democrats.
The culture of discontinuation is a culture we must leave behind.
