It is enough to look at neighboring countries to understand that there are solutions that help all citizens.
The Assembly of Northern Macedonia has approved the law on reduction of excise duty on fuels and Value Added Tax from 18 to 10 percent. It has also decided to reduce the VAT on basic foods from 5 to 0 percent.
But while pretending to be helping citizens, in this time of crisis the government is programming more taxes; will reinstate the Small Business tax and a number of other taxes that will further aggravate the situation.
Charity does not solve the crisis, it only deepens it.
