At the meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha proposed to remove Berisha’s supporters from the leadership of the Parliamentary Committees.
More specifically, he proposed the name of Grida Duma as Chairwoman of the Health Commission, replacing Albana Vokshi.
Flutura Açka has been proposed as chairwoman of the Education Commission, while Dhurata Çupi has been proposed as chairwoman of the Law Commission, replacing Oerd Bylykbashi.
Xhelal Mziu (secretary) has been nominated to the Secretariat for Budget, Bledion Nallbati (member) to the Secretariat for Procedures, Voting and Ethics, Dashnor Sula (secretary) to the Secretariat for Parliamentary Status, Library and Publications to the Secretariat for Parliamentary Research: Lindita Metaliaj (member).
While Agron Gjekmarkaj was approved as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party. It was also decided at the meeting that Enkelejd Alibeaj would retain the position of deputy chairman of the party but also become chairman of the PD parliamentary group.
