“Be careful”, State Police appeals to drivers: In these axes can be crossed only with a chain

According to the police, as a result of the bad weather, difficulties have been created in the circulation of vehicles, mainly in the bypass of Arbri road and in Qafë Murrizë, and consequently the circulation is not allowed until the clearing from the snowplows.

Further, the police reports that in Qafthana, Librazhd area, and on Kombit road, it is currently crossed without chains, while in some rural road axes the crossing is done with chains, such as in Korça, Shkodër, Dibër and Kukës.

Police appeal to all drivers to increase caution when crossing all road axes, especially where there is water or snow.

Due to the bad weather with rain and snow, in some axes and road segments there is difficulty in the circulation of vehicles, mainly in the bypass of Arbri road and in Qafë Murrizë the circulation of vehicles is difficult, and as a consequence in this axis is not allowed to circulate until it is cleared of snowplows.

In Qafthana, the Librazhd area, and on the Kombit road, it is currently crossed without chains, as it is working with snowplows to keep these road axes clean.

In some rural road axes, in Korça, Shkodër, Dibër and Kukës, the crossing is done with chains.

In order to prevent road accidents, as well as to come to the aid of road users, in case of need, due to bad weather, the State Police has taken a series of emergency measures, increasing the presence of uniformed services in all country roads.

The State Police appeals to all drivers to increase road care when crossing all road axes, as there is the presence of water and snow, to wear seat belts and not to use the mobile phone while driving, not to circulate quickly, not to overtake and not to drive under the influence of alcohol or worse still in a drunken state.
