Karim Benzema has not performed well this season at Real Madrid. The Frenchman is very dear to the fans, but he does not like the fact that Florentino Perez has decided to attract Erling Haaland to the team.
The Spanish newspaper “El Nacional” reported that at the age of 34, Benzema does not want to give up football and in case the Madrid team signs with the Norwegian, he can leave Real and go to PSG.
It is learned that talks between the Parisians and the former Olympique Lyonnais striker have started long ago and the agreement is desired by both parties.
Benzema has a contract with Real until 2023.
He has previously expressed the desire of President Perez to continue in Madrid, as he feels appreciated. Benzema is now at the moment of his maturity as a player and according to him he still deserves to continue playing the role of Real Madrid’s central striker.
