Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha on Wednesday called on all Democratic Party MPs, who demanded the resignation of the party chairman, Lulzim Basha, especially after the March 6 election result, to join the real opposition.

Berisha thinks that Basha does not resign because he is a hostage who does not have himself in his hands.
“I followed the developments inside Lul Brava’s headquarters and the armored bunker. I appreciate and greet the attitudes of the PD deputies, who just ascertained with facts that the brava-opposition is a false, feigned opposition, they expressed their right attitudes, demanded decisions, which Lul Brava never takes, because they do not allow it.“, Declared the former prime minister.
He called on critics of the current DP leader to join the real opposition on the sole condition that they accept the free vote.

“Anyone who is willing to contribute to this process and has confidence in free voting is fully welcome”.
Berisha stressed that there will be no new party and that this is the real opposition.
