The supporter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Belind Këlliçi, invited this Monday on the Open show on Top Channel, said that his statement ‘non grata’ is not eternal.
He points out that for many politicians who have been declared ‘non grata’ DASH has removed them from this list, while taking the example of the Prime Minister of India.
“The DASH statement said that they do not extend in time, the primary is all democratic. The Prime Minister of India in 2005 was declared ‘non grata’, he was denied entry to the US, but Mr. Modi in 2014 was elected Prime Minister of India. You can see the photos even when he was ‘non grata’ at the official reception at the White House. I have not seen ‘non grata’ extend forever. This DASH response does not close the file. You will not find evidence that ‘non grata’ is eternal“, According to Këlliç.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken declared former Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his family ‘non grata’ “for major corruption”.
Theformer Prime Minister Sali Berisha this Monday confirmed the coalition with the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) in the local by-elections calling it the “House of Freedom”. According to him, negotiations are underway with other parties, which want to be part of this “house”.
He today introduced the six winning candidates for mayor who will run in the March 6 by-elections.
