A bomb alert was issued for several schools in the four northern municipalities, Leposavic, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and North Mitrovica.
This was confirmed by the spokesman of the Police in the north, Branislav Radovic, who said that the announcement was received at 7:40 today.
“Police around 7:40 this morning received information that in some northern schools there are explosive devices in the municipalities of Leposavic Zubin Potok, Zvecan and North Mitrovica,” said Radovic.
Information about the bomb came through the official email addresses of these schools, while the population in these areas is predominantly Serb.
Police went to the scene while all students were evacuated from these facilities.
