According to the head of the Authority, the postponement of the flour market monitoring and investigation was done due to the lack of insufficient evidence identifying the source of the price increase.
But, despite the fact that the Competition Authority had the market under investigation for 1 year, the increase in the price of imported wheat, which according to the institution is related to fluctuations in international markets, made the price of bread increase by 10 lek since September last year. .
