Tirana – Two people have fallen into the hands of the police after being accused of distributing cocaine.
The arrested are Luan Nexhipi and Euklid Celmeta who were caught with 1 kg and 117 grams of cocaine, 1 amount of money obtained from the sale of narcotics and other illegal items.

They distributed cocaine in different areas of Tirana, 2 citizens were handcuffed.

Following the work for the successive strikes of the criminal activity in the field of narcotics, based on the information that two citizens possessed and were involved in the distribution of cocaine, after a real work of several weeks, the Section for Narcotics Investigation, in DVP Tirana, carried out the anti-drug operation codenamed “Urus”, in the framework of which the citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:
LN, 47 years old and E. C (H)., 39 years old, both residents of Tirana.
The Narcotics Investigation Section of the Local Police Directorate of Tirana has collected information on the operational road that both of these citizens were involved in the distribution of narcotics of the type “Cocaine” in quantities, in different areas of the city of Tirana.
Based on the information gathered and after a thorough investigative work of several weeks, it was possible to catch them in flagrante delicto on the street “Nikolla Lena” in Tirana, where during the control exercised in the vehicle with which these two citizens were traveling, the services and the Police found and seized as material evidence a bag of cocaine weighing 1 kilogram and 117 grams.
Also seized was the vehicle with which these citizens were circulating to sell narcotics, 6 mobile phones and a sum of money obtained from the sale of narcotics.
At the moment of the intervention by the police officers for their capture, these two citizens tried to run away to escape their capture, but they could not because they were handcuffed by the Police.
The materials were referred for further actions to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tirana Judicial District, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics, committed in collaboration.”
