China is facing the worst wave of the coronavirus pandemic, since the first cases were reported in more than two years.
The China Health Commission registered more than 4,300 local infections and asymptomatic cases on Sunday.

However, with the spread of the Omicron variant, the number of infected has increased rapidly.
The authorities are now pursuing a “dynamic” strategy, which envisages short-term restrictions to avoid impact on the economy and daily life.
