Christian believers in Shkodra have started the celebration of Easter, with the Mass of Vigil, in the Cathedral of “St. Stephen”.
In his message, Archbishop Monsignor Angelo Massafra said that Albania and the world are going through difficult times due to the war in Ukraine.
He called on politicians to love more and work for their country, while urging young people to stay in Albania with their families.
The celebrations continued with the Sunday Mass and for the first time since the pandemic started, the Catholic Church in Shkodra has announced that it will receive visits and congratulations from politicians, citizens and religious clergy.
