Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services of the Tropoja Commissariat, together with the medical team, started towards the area where the climbers are suspected to have been blocked.
Due to the difficult and steep terrain and the distance of tourists from the area that can be crossed by vehicles, the intervention of the helicopter was requested, in order to provide assistance to the injured citizens.
From the information so far, the 2 blocked climbers are being assisted by 2 other citizens (climbers), who were also exploring the Valbona area.
