The Adriatic beaches are full, but this season the holidays will be more expensive than a year ago.
However, many vacationers in Durrës say that the prices are better than those in other countries in the region.
”Vij from Italy and well. Prices have risen here, but we will afford it. The problem is the sunbeds that are very close to the sea.”
“We do not pay rent because we have a small entrance here, but we see it in the daily expenses. It feels great. ”
– Do you have any expectations that prices will go down?
“It is difficult to get up and sit down. There are more empty tents. ”
”Prices have risen, just like in any other country in the world. Some changes are being noticed but the growth is not extreme. It’s very good. I always prefer Albania as a first destination. ‘‘
“Last year I was in Ulcinj and compared to there it is cheaper here and why prices have increased.”
Rising prices are more sensitive for those who practice water sports. Their lovers have faced high prices this summer that make them unaffordable.
“They are a little expensive. Compared to Ulcinj where I got a water motor 20 euros. Here 30 euros.
“With the salaries that are here it is a problem. Many problems especially for the youth. “But the market economy will have less consumption and will lower prices from August.”
“I do not practice much. I can not spend on them. I am from Ukraine and I have been living here in Durrës since April and I am grateful to Albania for hosting us. ”
Those who offer water motor vehicles on the beach show the reason and that despite the prices the interest is high, especially from foreign tourists.
“This year we had a lot of tourists and they are very interested.
“We have increased them with 500 new lek in the engines because the gasoline has also increased, while the parachutes have increased by 1000 lek.”
– Which vacationers are most interested?
“Foreigners have more money…”
