The Court of Tirana has accepted the request of KF Luftetari to suspend the decisions and legal effects of the Verification Commission convened on 10.1.2022, the Executive Committee of the ALF convened on 21.01 of this year and the suspension of the activity of the Verification Commission of the ALF convened on 2 February.
These decisions come a few days after the decision that was taken by the court of Tirana, which overturned the voting conducted in the association of the capital. The race is blocked until the court has reviewed the documentation and resolved the dispute.
As a result, the Court has decided not to hold elections for the competition of the governing bodies of the Albanian football federation scheduled for March 2.
The court decision provides for the Suspension of the activity of the ALF Verification Commission, for the organization, supervision and direction of the General Assembly of the ALF.
The suspension will last until the review of the complaints for falsification of the process in the regional associations. On the same day, the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Federation approved the election materials for March 2, despite the court decision which was taken on Thursday afternoon.
The distribution of election materials and documentation has also been decided. In the race for president of the Albanian Football Federation are the current president Armand Duka, former coach Sulejman Starova and journalist Dritan Shakohoxha.
In Tirana were also the UEFA experts who collected the data and on Friday they will make public their observation report regarding the 4-day analysis in the capital, a material that will be submitted to the president of UEFA, Aleksandër Ceferin, the Prime Minister of the country Edi Rama and the Albanian Football Federation
