The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over 16 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
The Ministry of Health appeals to all +18 years old who have passed 6 months from the second dose, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.

Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.
We remind the citizens that putting on a mask is mandatory in any closed environment.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 3068 tests were performed, of which 482 citizens tested positive with COVID19, in the following municipalities:
225 in Tirana, 34 in Durrës, 21 in Vlora, 18 in Shkodra, 17 in Elbasan, from 12 citizens in Gjirokastra, Fier, from 11 citizens in Lezha, Berat, Kuçova, 8 in Cerrik, from 6 citizens in Kamza, Lushnje, Korçë, Gramsh, from 5 citizens in Saranda, Delvinë, Divjakë, Kurbin, Puka, from 4 citizens in Vau i Dejës, Dibër, Tepelena, Dimal, from 3 citizens in Peqin, Përmet, Himara, Patos, Vora, Shijak, from 2 citizens in Malësi e Madhe, Krujë, Rrogozhinë, Pogradec, Devoll, Skrapar, Belsh, Librazhd, by 1 citizen in Mallakastër, Tropojë, Kukës.
There are 6419 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 97 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 9 are in more serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there is 1 loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive: a 78-year-old citizen from Elbasan.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
311 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 201,069 since the beginning of the epidemic.
