Qamil Seiti, born in 2003, failed to turn 18 because he lost his life to Covid after staying in intensive care for several days.
The young man had no other disease but the virus had defeated him and even very young age could not save him. He is now the youngest victim of the pandemic since its inception. Qamili from Memaliaj, was a young man passionate about cooking, but in recent days he quit his job because he and his parents were urgently admitted to the Covid 2 hospital in Tirana.
Several people lost their lives in this hospital, among them a 32-year-old woman who had just given birth to a baby. Thankfully the minor is in good condition.
The 32-year-old from Elbasan, was forced to undergo a premature birth by cesarean section. It was the complications and aggravated condition of the coronavirus that took her life. According to sources, the 32-year-old is not the only one who has undergone a cesarean section. In some cases, Covid hospitals have been forced to hire maternity doctors to perform these interventions on patients affected by coronavirus.
Despite the high number of infections in our country, in this hospital, many ambulances continue to come which bring patients to be treated by Covid.
