The UN Security Council dedicated a special session to the war crimes in Ukraine, from where the Minister of Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka spoke on behalf of Albania, where she initially thanked the Prosecutor General of Ukraine for the document of 8,000 crimes.
“Russia is a permanent member of the UN Security Council, a country that is supposed to be one of the defenders of the system based on international rules and is therefore endowed with a veto, but suddenly turned into a fraud . A so-called defender of the system, has launched a war against a neighbor, committing unimaginable crimes in the process, why? Not because he was attacked, not because he was threatened, but because he chose. “It has not stopped, even when the General Assembly of this Organization massively condemned its war, asking it to stop it.”said Xhaçka.
Russia said at the end of her speech that the Minister Olta Xhacka should be held accountable, emphasizing that this is something we owe to the Ukrainian people, who in this war are fighting not only for their land and country, but also for us, for peace, security and stability and for the future of us all.
