In the first week of March, instead of waiting for spring, we will have the return of the winter season.
In the early hours of the morning the mountainous areas are covered by light snowfall. Here in the Dajti area the thickness of the snow reaches 3-5 cm. Snowfall in the Tirana area is always welcome. Adults and children enjoy the whiteness that nature offers.
“I came here with my family, I am having fun as we also made a snowman together“, says a vacationer.
“I came with the girl to enjoy the snow. We were extremely pleased “says another.
“I love snow very much, I can play with it and make a snowman grandfather. But it is very difficult to do, I will try again “confesses a boy.
And while the snow will continue to fall in the mountains, in the lowlands citizens should keep their tents with them.
“We will have a mini winter in the next week. I want to say that in the mountainous areas we will have snowfall again, but not with this intensity, it will be less. On Tuesday and Wednesday we will have rain. While temperatures will drop to 6 degrees Celsius, which means that in mountainous areas I can go to -7 degrees Celsius, while in the lowlands will go from 3-6 degrees Celsius. This will be the weather of the week in the following days“, Says Drinalda Shaholli from MetoAlb.
