The sponsorship law still remains an unfulfilled point by the requirements of the football community on behalf of all sports in the country.
A request which almost two years ago brought the boycott of football teams for about 2 months.
The meeting of the football president Armand Duka with the then Prime Minister Edi Rama brought a promise which then remained in the technical mechanisms of drafting this law which has encountered the obstacle of the specialists of the Ministry of Finance.
This Tuesday, the president of FSHF, a representative of the presidents of the Superior Category and the president of the Professional League held a meeting with the Minister of Sports Evis Kushi.
“Our requirements remain the same, we do not want to go into technical details just to have a sponsorship law for the sport to survive to create standards for our children, as sport is not just a field or a championship, but a way of life,” he said. Armand Duka president of FSHF.
Does all this silence and procrastination of fulfilling the demands end up in another football boycott?
“This time we have thought to change another tactic in our demands, starting with the line minister, and I hope he will take it forward,” said Duka.
