The magical moment of a couple from the US was unfortunately taken hostage by a ‘Disneyland Paris’ park employee wearing Mickey Mouse’s ears, who snatched the proposal ring to remove them from the restricted area.
The footage shared on the network showed the couple in front of Cinderella Castle in the famous Parisian amusement park before the employee came grabbing the ring with which the boy was proposing to his girlfriend.
As he left the employee signaled the couple to follow him and the couple followed the ring hijacker during last week’s bizarre episode.
Some users called the Disney employee ‘devilish’ while others praised him for the effective intervention to discourage other guests from making marriage proposals in inappropriate places.
In the picture some passers-by are seen applauding when the boy sits on his knees to propose with a ring in his hand, while his girlfriend puts her hands on his stunned face.
Whereas when the staff member intervenes by taking the ring to indicate the appropriate location, witnesses issue outbursts of anger.
The proposing boy then seems to say “She told me ‘Yes'”, but the employee replies: “Yes, very well, but if you go here it will be even better”.
The camera then stops and then shows that the couple have been escorted out by a locked gate.
Online reactions to the video were mixed as most condemned the cruel staff member, while others felt the couple had no right to be where they were.
