Former US President Donald Trump yesterday offered his comment on the satirical saga of the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, saying ironically that “they are a beautiful couple”, despite the vulgar accusations of several weeks of domestic abuse shocking on both sides.
Depp has said among other things that she hit him with the vodka bottle in 2015 by breaking a finger, and that the ex-wife defecated on his side of the bed.
Heard denied the latter, saying that the “need” was made by her dog.
The 58-year-old legendary screen Depp is suing his ex-wife Heard, 36, for defamation, after an article she sent to the ‘Washington Post’ where, among other things, she called him “a public figure representing domestic abuse”.
Trump wrote ironically yesterday on his social network ‘Truth Social’: “Has anyone seen that Johnny Depp / Amber Heard trial? How beautiful a couple they are, eh? ”
“First, Johnny is suing her for writing an article in a small newspaper that no one reads. “What does this mean?” Trump added, referring ironically to the Washington Post.
Trump further adds that many couples are learning the problems between them as a result of the unpopular TV saga.
He added: “There are a lot of low charges, I liked the one who drops the bottle and breaks his finger, that woman should have the arm of a baseball striker.”
Depp has denied allegations that he used violence against Heard but says he is the victim of her psychological violence and insults.
“Everything could have started with a push, with a release of the TV remote control over my head,” says Depp.
As on a May 22, 2015 diary page, Heard wrote: “True love is not the madness of passion or finding a safe haven, these must be both.”
Her allegations of violence by Depp are always accompanied by accusations of adultery, which are denied by the actor.
