The Democratic Party reacted this Tuesday after the formalization of the coalition agreement between the Re-establishment Commission and the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), which will run together in the March 6 local by-elections in six municipalities of the country.
The Democratic Party led by the current leader Lulzim Basha considers such a coalition as the “old Meta-Berisha-Rama party” and according to which, “symbolizes corruption, old politics, false news and misinformation”.
In a statement to the media, the DP says that the old party “Meta-Berisha-Rama” has two goals:
- To hurt the DP and the Democrats.
2. To become a protective shelter for Meta and Berisha.
“The candidacy in Dibra of the prosecutor’s husband who defended Edi Rama’s gang, by not investigating the 184 file of the election theft in Dibra, is a serious provocation for every Dibra democrat who first tried the election massacre in 2016“, Says PD.
According to her, Premtim Kryemadhi could be Monika Kryemadhi’s cousin, it could also be the prosecutor’s husband who protected and rescued Edi Rama and his gang from prison, but he has nothing to do with the DP and the Democrats.
“His candidacy best explains the private communication of Flamur Noka and Ulsi Manja. The candidate of the “Non-Grata” coalition was chosen jointly. Ulsi Manja, if the wife of Flamur Noka’s candidate in Debar applied the law and investigated file 184, she would be in prison and not in charge of the Ministry of Justice“, Is quoted from the statement of the Democratic Party.
The Socialist Movement for Integration submitted today to the Central Election Commission the request for registration of the “House of Freedom” coalition in the March 6 elections. Part of the coalition will be the SMI, the DP represented by the Re-establishment Commission and the Christian Democratic Party of Nard Ndoka.
In the agreement signed between Sali Berisha and the chairwoman of the SMI, Monika Kryemadhi, it is stated that the Re-establishment Commission will be the political leader of the ‘House of Freedom’ coalition, while the SMI will be the leader of the coalition.
The Re-establishment Commission concluded the primary process for the selection of candidates for the premises on March 6, on January 30.
