The crew of the “Unistream” ship has been stranded at sea for 53 days, by court decision, due to the investigations being carried out after the seizure of 59 kilograms of cocaine.
Four Russians, one Ukrainian, seven Filipinos, after earlier being represented by the company that owns the ship “Unistream” but were refused for the return of the ship, personal passports and sailing passports, resubmitted the request in person as requested by the judge of the case Erjon Cela.
The judge against organized crime did not accept the lifting of the blockade against the ship, while he had assessed that for the documents, each of the crew members should submit a personal request.
The ship with the flag of Antigua Barbuda from the Caribbean islands arrived at the Albanian port where cocaine is being discovered more and more often, after a company under verification by SPAK had ordered coal.
The process for the return of the documents of the suspects, but also the mobile phones that are currently under expertise to confirm whether or not the crew had contact with others will be held on Friday.
After some of them were questioned by the national bureau of investigation, the crew were handcuffed on the way out to be returned to the ship under seizure.
