The Operational Forces of the General Directorate of Prisons have exercised controls in the cells of prisoners in the prisons of Peqin, Korça and Elbasan.
Eight operational groups were involved in this operation and after the controls they found a mobile watch, two playstations 3, suspected to be used as means of communication and two bags of cocaine.
It is learned that 11 cells were checked in Elbasan prison in Buildings A and B, 13 in Peqin prison and 14 in Korça prison.
The materials were handed over to the ICS officers and the Organized Crime Sector at the Elbasan Police Directorate for the continuation of investigative actions.
